陈晓峰，1979 年出生于上海。现居上海。2005年开始涉足摄影。2007-2010年关注报道摄影，主要拍摄有《地下的躁动-地下摇滚乐》(2008-2010)、《喀什》(2009)和《非典型矿工》(2010)等报道摄影系列作品。2011年起开始拓展艺术摄影领域，拍摄了关注人类生活环境下摆饰植物生存状态的作品《植物 置物》(2012-2013)。2014年起开始尝试探索新媒介，创作了旨在探讨虚拟空间里“摄影”问题的《植物 置物 II》系列作品。2017年开始创作关于现代大都市室外空间植物的《植物 置物 III》系列作品。2021年开始创作关于对中国古代文字进行探索的系列作品。

Chen Xiaofeng was born in 1979 and raised in Shanghai, China. Based in Shanghai presently. Chen Xiaofeng began to involve in photography in 2005. From 2007 to 2010, Chen focused his practise mainly in the field of photojournalism and completed series as “Turbulence-Underground Rock’n’roll” (2008-2010), “Untypical Miner”(2009) and “Kashgar” (2010). While in 2011, Chen turned to fine art photography which was identified by the work “Placing Plants” (2012-2013), a group of reflective images on the condition of decorative plants in human life. Later in 2014, Chen started his exploration in the realm of new media, and made “Placing Plants II”, an extention to his previous work to discuss the issue of “photographing” in the virture space. From 2017, he started the new project “Placing Plants III”, which focused on the condition of plants in the outer spaces of modern metropolises.From 2021, his new serials is about Calligraphy and Rubbing of Chinese ancient character and words.
